world! The final results are to be determined by ratings from guests, and
ratings from the hospitality sector. So, team Scotland, let’s go for it!

Scotland do the unthinkable? Could Scotland’s Hospitality sector achieve a
previously unachieved worldwide feat? NB 7 continents, and 75 countries!!
We are
delighted to confirm that Haute Grandeur global hotel awards, have once again
placed Balbirnie House on annual shortlist, in the categories of ‘Best
Destination Wedding Hotel’ & ‘Best Destination Wedding Retreat’.
Which means, there is only one further possibility, and that’s Number
1 worldwide. Specifically, we are informed by Haute Grandeur: ‘You are being
considered currently on a country, continent AND global basis in these
categories’.
This is because, in 2016 (Abu Dhabi host venue) and 2017 (Thailand host venue) Balbirnie
House won the Haute Grandeur awards in both of the above categories, for the entire continent of Europe.
Over 3 decades since opening as a hotel, our brigade has strived every
single day, to provide our absolute best of the best Hospitality, that’s with a
Scottish capital H.
Continually flying those flags, for Scotland and Hospitality.
Our combined efforts have brought some truly incredible results to Scotland, and the heart
of The Kingdom of Fife. Balbirnie House is now the 12 time recipient of The Scottish
Hotel Awards, ‘Wedding Hotel of the Year’, Scotland’s 2016 National Hotel of
the Year, and previous defined winner in 4 Haute Grandeur categories, as Number
1 in Europe. These are for Best Destination Wedding Retreat, Best Destination Wedding Hotel, Best Function Venue Hotel, and Best Romantic Hotel.
Online supporters are now being asked in 2018 to support the judging process, by rating 5 categories. We hope
that we have exceeded all of your expectations. The higher the ratings, the
greater the chances.

The 2018
awards take place in Dubai, on 1st November. If we make it through
to the finals, we will of course let you know.
